The 2020 Southeast New York Stormwater Conference is on, and registration is open!
Because of the constraints of Covid-19 however, this year's Stormwater Conference is shifting to an online format. While we'll miss the excellent food and beautiful views of the Hudson River - and the opportunity to enjoy them in person with you all- we've managed to pull together a great group of speakers who will address diverse and timely topics related to stormwater management in the Hudson Valley.
The conference will take place over four 2.5-hour sessions, one each on 11/5, 11/10, 11/12 and 11/17. Each session will run from 8:55 AM - around 11:30 AM, and will focus on a different theme.
We also will be offering Continuing Education credits for a variety of professional certifications, as we do every year. We're anticipating the full Conference (all four sessions) being accredited for 8 CECs for Professional Engineers- Sessions I and II have been approved for 4 total CECs. The full conference has been approved for 8 CECs for Certified Floodplain Managers and and 8 PDHs for Registered Landscape Architects. We'll post more information here as it comes in.
While the Trade Show is obviously not possible this year, we've built opportunities for attendees to hear about the latest and greatest trends in stormwater management technology and professional services from our sponsors during the conference program.
Session themes, presentation topics and presenters are below, along with a link to the registration page. Please contact Mike Jastremski (MJ.LHCCD@gmail.com) if you have questions, and check back here too- we'll be posting more details as they become available.
